Graham Murray knew he wanted his brand to feature a feather and wedge, stone-splitting tools that have been in use for many centuries. He took pride in his traditional masonry training and deep knowledge of real stone, and, as importantly, wanted to look professional, polished and of-the-moment in Northwest mountain towns with bustling custom home markets.
Bantam delivered a brand that was both clean and craftsmanlike, with a dimensional tool depiction, and blunt, split-stone edges on the primary typeface. It lent itself equally well to tactile letterpress business cards as it did to vinyl vehicle graphics, and added just the right handcrafted feel to a photo-heavy portfolio website.
